Mental Health Hotlines

Several mental health hotlines are available specifically for first responders. These services are especially valuable for those seeking immediate support or who prefer speaking with someone by phone. Trusted hotlines include:

  • Safe Call Now: A 24/7 confidential crisis line staffed by former first responders. Offers immediate peer support and referrals to vetted treatment programs: 1-206-459-3020 or 1-877-230-6060

  • Fire/EMS Helpline (Share the Load Program - NVFC): A confidential, 24-hour helpline for firefighters, EMTs, and their families. Operated by the National Volunteer Fire Council. 1-888-731-FIRE (3473)
